Standing in Tadasana exhale as you hop your feet 3 to 4 ft apart, keeping your feet parallel to each other.

Inhale bring your hands to your hips and lengthen your spine upward.

Exhale folding at your hips, keep the length in your torso as you bring your fingertips or palms to the floor in front of you or hold on to your ankles.

breathe here for 15 to 30 seconds then return to the start position (tadasana / mountain pose)


This posture relieves mild back aches and headaches, it calms the brain, stretches and strengthens the spine and is also responsible for creativity.

The sacral chakra identifies with the element water and the color orange. Svadisthana chakra focuses on sensuality, pleasure, ‘going with the flow’ and embracing experiences in life.
